Bike Daze Ride: Affordable Housing and Bike Networks

Join Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition for a bike ride from South San Francisco to Millbrae!

Come celebrate Bike and Affordable Housing Month by participating in their ride featuring affordable housing projects and programs, and the good and bad bike networks that connect them.

Details:

Participants will learn about South San Francisco's anti-displacement efforts, its partnership with BRIDGE to build 158 new homes, Millbrae's newest affordable housing for veterans and their families, and more!

The ride will begin at the Grand Avenue Library in South San Francisco and end at the Rollins, an affordable housing site located near the Millbrae Transit Center. We will have several stops along the way to hear from experts on the ways they're tackling the housing crisis in the Peninsula.

Public transportation will be easily accessible. The Grand Avenue library in South San Francisco is an 8-minute bike ride from the CALTRAIN station, and our final destination at the Millbrae Transit Center provides you access to BART, SAMTRANS, or CALTRAIN. Folks can also join SVBC's local team on a longer bike ride back to South City.

You can review a tentative agenda below and the ride route on Ride w/GPS here. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to anthony@bikesiliconvalley.org
