Recent research by the Stanford Community Law Clinic and a forthcoming report from the Bay Area Housing Finance Authority describe the current landscape of legal evictions, informal evictions, and legal services capacity in the region. In many jurisdictions, evictions continue to surpass the pre-pandemic levels after eviction moratoria and pandemic-era protections have ended.
